There's a lot of noise online about GTA 6. Rumors, leaks, speculation dressed up as fact. This post cuts through all of it. Here's what Rockstar and Take-Two have officially confirmed, and nothing more.
The Release Date Is November 19, 2026
Take-Two Interactive confirmed in its fiscal year 2026 earnings report on May 21, 2026 that Grand Theft Auto VI will release on November 19, 2026, embedding the date in a document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. It doesn't get more official than an SEC filing. GAMINGbible
The road to November 19 wasn't direct. GTA 6 was originally supposed to release in fall 2025, then got pushed to May 26, 2026, before landing on the current November date. Each delay made headlines. Confirmed Platforms at Launch
GTA 6 launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026. No other platforms have been confirmed for day one. That means no PS4, no Xbox One, and no PC at launch. GameLuster
